With sleek and minimalist looks, French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec created an dastardly good looking pendant light that instantly captivates.

Made by Flos, the contemporary modern “Aim” line of pendant lights feature wires that seems to develop and grow like branches or climbing plants that serve as a tactile, decorative element.

Each Aim is outfitted with a cable length of of 9 metres, thus the lamp can be suspended 3 metres from the ceiling.

Aim can be configured in any number of ways and is especially practical when you don’t have a ceiling outlet above the spot you would like to brighten up.

Outfitted with advanced LED lights, aim is outfitted with LED lighting and uses 1 x LED 2700K 1250lm CRI 82 lights that consume only 16W of energy.

The light output of 1250lm provides a warm light. The AIM-Small provides direct lighting and is available in three versions: a hardwired version that includes a 5 diameter canopy that should be hardwired directly to a 120V junction box (no additional LED is required); a plug-in version with a (non-dimmable) switch; and a fixed version.

AIM suspended light fitting. Body in varnished aluminum, shade in photo-etched optical polycarbonate. Internal reflector in photo-etched ABS. Directionable body. Powered directly from mains. The cable has a useful length of 354 inches (9m) and thus the lamp can be suspended 118 inches (3m) from the ceiling. A wall plug version also exists.
