Mayuhana Petal was designed by Pritzker Laureate Toyo Ito. For the design of these lamps, Toyo Ito drew inspiration from the organic forms of nature, prioritizing a sense of fluidity that is found in the natural world.

Toyo Ito latest Mayuhana Petal Table Lamp is an airy free flowing luminous cloud-like table light. The lamp is remarkable because of it’s silky white threads that are spun into an organic shape.

This exceptional Japanese light sculpture gives off a wonderful diffused light that is enhanced by the double and triple shelters of this delicate, fiber glass creation.

The softness of the playful Mayuhana Petal light is reminiscent of a traditional Japanese portable paper lantern (bonbori lantern lamps).

This contemporary table lamp offer plenty of atmospheric light, mixing function with a stylish aesthetic.
