The Tolomeo lamp is fully adjustable and provides an infinite number
of ways to direct the light. The Tolomeo lamp has therefore become one
of the most popular desk lamps since it combines design with
functionality. The aluminum diffuser of the Tolomeo lamp can swivel 360
degrees and easily turns with the cool-to-the-touch steel tip. The
Tolomeo lamp has a fully adjustable, articulated arm body structure in
extruded, brilliant, natural anodized aluminum finish. Joints and
tension control knobs and mountings in polished die-cast aluminum. The
cables are made in stainless steel, with a 6″ diameter diffuser in
stamped, anodized matte aluminum, tiltable and 360 degrees rotatable on
lamp holder with incorporated on/off switch.

by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina for Artemide in 1987. The
Tolomeo won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro Award for best design in
1989. The versatile Tolomeo lamps have become one of the world’s most

This lamp takes any standard E26/A19 screw-in type light bulb including incandescent, CFL, halogen or LED. We will include 1 complimentary 100W E26/A19 standard incandescent light bulb with your purchase of the Artemide Tolomeo Classic Lamp (light bulbs are usually not included by the manufacturer)! Sourcing the right light bulb can be a time-consuming task. Since we understand you have better things to do, Stardust is more than happy to include a standard incandescent bulb free of charge. It’s our way of saying that we care about you!
